End of Second Quarter 2022, Increase in TPK for Jakarta Star Hotels Continues

The government has relaxed regulations on community activities, in line with the control of COVID-19 cases. At this time, Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition (MICE) activities can be held at maximum capacity. In addition, several international events have also been held in Jakarta in June 2022. This seems to be a breath of fresh air for the Jakarta hotel industry.
Jakarta star hotel TPK in the second quarter of 2022 is moving towards improvement. For two consecutive months, the ROR for star hotels has increased, even reaching 54.3 percent in June 2022.
On the other hand, the average length of stay of star hotel guests decreased by 0.13 days from 1.90 days in May 2022 to 1.77 days in June 2022. Meanwhile, the composition of hotel guests was relatively consistent as in previous months. Indonesian guests dominate hotel room occupancy up to 94.6 percent and the rest are foreign guests with a percentage of 5.4 percent.
