Wednesday (26/06), West Jakarta City BPS carried out the Cantik Jelita Village Training activity (Love of Statistics, Window of Dissemination and Statistical Literacy) in the West Jakarta City BPS Hall which was attended by representatives from the West Jakarta Administrative City Government Section; West Jakarta Communications and Information Technology Sub-Department; The sub-district heads and statistical agents who are the training centers for Cantik Jelita sub-district, namely Kembangan Selatan, Sukabumi Selatan and Palmerah sub-districts; and the Coordinator of the BPS Education and Training Center's Beautiful Village Development Team, Euis Naya Sari. This activity was opened by Plt. Head of BPS DKI Jakarta Province, Dwi Paramita Dewi.
The first day's training material includes One Village Data material, stages of statistical activities, simple data processing and analysis, as well as effective data visualization delivered by a team of presenters, including Stephani Febryanna, Ayesha Tantriana, Anugrah Adi Dwi Yarto, Nurul Hiqmah, Advendos Dame Christi Sigalingging , and Jimmi Erikson P. Hutasoit.
On this occasion Plt. Head of BPS DKI Jakarta Province, Dwi Paramita Dewi said that the training of sub-district statistical agents can encourage sub-district officials to utilize existing data independently, including being able to interpret and analyze data simply, present or disseminate data to the public in a simple and easy to understand manner, as well as building statistical literacy for Village Apparatus and the wider community.
We also appreciate the steps taken by the West Jakarta City BPS together with the West Jakarta City Government, especially the West Jakarta Communications and Information Technology Sub-Department, to collaborate in taking on this role and responsibility.
