Supervision of Producer Price Survey by BPS Prov. DKI Jakarta

Tuesday (21/05) DKI Jakarta Province BPS visited BPS West Jakarta City in order to supervise Producer Price Survey (SHP) activities. Hastanti Sukoco Putri SST, M.A. as SHP supervisor from BPS DKI Jakarta Province monitors the progress of data collection and processing of SHP data at BPS West Jakarta City. Apart from that, the supervisor also checks the Standard Classification of Indonesian Business Fields (KBLI) codes and the input and output fields in the supplement questionnaire and the monthly Producer Price Survey.

The aim of collecting producer price data is to obtain complete and continuous producer price data for calculating the Producer Price Index (PPI). The types of goods for which price data is collected are the types of goods included in the IHP commodity package.
The selected commodity packages are goods that are predominantly produced and sold in large quantities.
